I am passionate about empowering the next generation of social workers and educators through innovative teaching and groundbreaking research.
My research primarily focuses on the educational achievement gaps, the school-to-prison pipeline, and the experiences of students of color and those with learning and behavioral disabilities. I am committed to driving social change through evidence-based research that informs policy and practice. My work has been published in leading academic journals and presented at numerous national conferences, where I advocate for inclusive educational practices and trauma-informed approaches.
